A Chinese vase and pot originally valued at around £30 have sold for an incredible £200,000 at Taylor's Auction Rooms in Scotland. The seemingly unremarkable lot consisted of a blue and white Chinese vase with two handles and a six-character mark, and a similar looking pot. The lot broke the auction houses previous sale record of £54,000 which was set by a photograph album back in 2010. The overseas buyer has as of yet remained anonymous but is said to be "pleased with their purchase".
