A bulb bowl of tripod censer form with three loop handles. The exterior and interior covered with a graduated green glaze. The base with the cursive Upchurch mark. English 1920s. Upchurch Pottery was established in 1907 by Seymour and Sidney Wakeley. The pots were inspired by classical Korean, Chinese and Roman forms and were decorated with matt or satin glazes in dull muted colours including blue-green, blues, plum purples and pinks.
