Official Ferrari Testarossa Spider to auction at Artcurial
A unique official Ferrari Testarossa Spider is to cross the block at Artcurial on February 5.
The lot is the only example of the model, essentially a convertible Testarossa, ever produced by Ferrari. Up until recently its existence was only hinted at.
While others do exist (the Sultan of Brunei ordered five to be specially built) most were produced unofficially – usually by modifying a Testarossa.
The lot previously belonged to Gianni Agnelli, the president of Fiat, and is expected to make around $750,000-1m in the Paris sale.
It’s uniqueness means its likely to sell extremely well.
