Mecum Auctions prepares for 3,000 car Kissimmee sale
Mecum Auctions is currently consigning vehicles for its annual sale in Kissimmee, Florida.
Regarded as the world's largest collector car and road art auction, the huge 10-day auction will cover 60 acres and offer more than 3,000 vehicles, from entry-level hobby cars to multimillion-dollar investment pieces.
“With early consignments including some of the rarest, and easily the most desirable classic American muscle cars ever to roll off the assembly line—and more coming through the pipeline each day—this auction will be one for the record books,” said Dana Mecum, President and Founder of Mecum Auctions.
“The opportunity to witness these monumental million-dollar muscle car collections, the likes of which the world has never seen, as they all converge in one place, at one time … it’s unprecedented. These are collections that include Hemi Cudas and Pontiac Trans Am Convertibles, Yenko Supercars, Boss Mustangs, Shelbys and more.”
Along with the impressive roster of American muscle cars, further highlights already consigned include a 24 Hours of Daytona-winning Porsche 962, a Ferrari 330 GTC, a Ferrari Daytona GTB/4 and a Ferrari Dino 246 GTS.
The road art and automobilia section of the sale will once again offer more than 1,000 rare vintage pieces, with consignments including a selection of original dealership neon signs and over 400 original, unrestored and never touched-up gas and oil porcelains, pump plates and globes.
The Mecum Kissimmee event takes place at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida on January 15-24, 2016.
