Maserati MC12 Corsa For Sale
The Maserati MC12 was based on Ferrari's Halo Car the Enzo, presumably catered to the kind of person that wanted an Enzo but didn't want to look like they just bought the most expensive car they could find. Incredibly the MC12 managed to be even less 'user friendly' than the Enzo, in part owing to the giant ait intake eliminating any rear visibility. That wasn't enough for the Italian firm though, so they made a harder still track version called the Corsa.
Unlike the Vauxhall Corsa in almost every way imaginable, the Maserati MC12 Corsa was built primarily to excel on the track, sharing more in common with the MC12 GT1 race car than the 'standard' road going Stradale version. Engine output was increased to 750hp for the Corsa as well as having a shortened nose and LM style rear wing.
Possibly the most amazing thing about the MC12 Corsa is the fact that it's road legal, though I wouldn't personally want to take it within 50 miles of a pothole or a speed bump. It's for sale at Joe Macari's London showroom and if you can you should probably buy it.
