Maserati Ghibli Coupé at auction
There can be no question that that original Ghibli was one of the greatest cars to have been made by Maserati. Produced between 1967 and 1973 it outsold both of its main rivals, the Lamborghini Miura and the Ferrari 365/4 'Daytona'.
Powered by a 4.7 DOHC V8 engine, the Ghibli boasted some extremely impressive performance figures, with a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds and a top speed just shy of 170 mph.
To my mind the Ghibli is also looks better as a coupé than a convertible. This numbers matching example looks to be a great example of the breed, having just returned from a 1,000 mile round trip. At auction from H&H on the 3rd of December.
