Jaguar Fairs Ltd (antiques and collectibles fair organizers)

Jaguar Fairs Ltd is an events company responsible for three major antiques fairs in the North of England.

About the company

The company was established in 1996 by the husband and wife team of Alan and Lynn Cartwright. Alan had previously worked as clock and watch repairer, and began to restore and sell antique pieces as a sideline. As this side of his business began to grow, he exhibited at a number of antiques fairs around the country and finally had the idea of organizing an event in the unique Atrium Building at Derby University.

Alan and Lynn held their first fair at the University in October 1996, and have continued at the venue ever since. In 2000 the company expanded with their first ‘Antiques in the Park’ fair at Kedleston Hall, and soon after purchased the Giant Wetherby Antiques Fair held at Wetherby Racecourse.

Fairs and locations

The company host regular fairs at three locations in the United Kingdom. They are:

  • Antiques in the Park – Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire
  • Giant Wetherby Racecourse Antiques Fair – Wetherby Racecourse, Yorkshire
  • Derby University Antiques Fair – Derby University, Derbyshire
