Is the classic car market about to break down?
I've always said that vintage cars are there to be driven. Get that old engine running and roaring and go for a cruise - that's the best part about owning one.
This new article says the bubble may be about to burst for the classic car market. That could mean bad news for investors looking for somewhere to park their cash, but good news for real collectors and petrolheads who've been priced out of the market.
I've owned a few classics in my time, and all of them cost more time and money than they were worth. But I loved fixing and driving every one of them. If this new trend keeps more classics on the road and out of people's portfolios, then I say bring it on. Buy a car because you love it, and don't worry about the rest.
