Fitch Phoenix Prototype at auction

It's not often you're able to buy a prototype car at auction and even less often when that car never actually made it into production, so remains the only one of its kind in existence. The Fitch Phoenix was created by John Fitch, a former racer himself, with a view to making a practical, safe car that was cheap to run.The car was still in John Fitch's ownership until his death in 2012, but is still owned by the family. Estimated value for the prototype is £90,000-£120,000 at Bonhams
