Final Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will auction for charity
The first final edition Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is to cross the block to benefit a multiple sclerosis charity.
The auction will close on November 21.
Mitsubishi’s hugely popular Lancer series will wind down this year after 25 years of production and the marque plans to release 1,600 final models.
The lot offered is the first of the 1,600 (with serial number 0001) and will be available to buyers in the US. Bidding stands at $40,300.
The model differs only slightly from the standard Evo. It features a minor increase in horsepower and an upgrade in suspension.
The real appeal for collectors is likely to be the low serial number and the opportunity to help raise some cash for charity.
