BMW M1 heads to auction
The BMW M1 was one of the most interesting and different cars ever made by the Bavarian based company, that might be in part thanks to Lamborghini's initial hand in development of the car. The Giugiaro body style is a dead give away and gives the M1 a distinctly 70s/ 80s look and rightly so.
Only 453 M1s were built and this one has incredibly survived with under 7,600 miles clocked making it one of the cleanest examples you're ever likely to find. Perhaps unsurprisingly prices of M1s have gone up in recent years and you can expect to pony up anywhere between $400,000-450,000 in the Bonhams auction if you want to drive it home with you.
The classic BMW is heading to auction at Bonhams' Amelia Island sale on the 12th of March.
