Kodak are to resurrect the Super 8
Kodak it seems are the latest company to join the retro revival, by re-issuing the Super 8 camera they stopped producing in 1982.
The original Super 8 design was launched 50 years ago and was discontinued in the 1980's after the popularity of tape based video cameras swamped the market.
Now, Kodak's chief executive Jeff Clarke is hoping to bring the camera back to modern audiences who he hopes are keen to learn the medium which many of their Hollywood heroes used to make their early films.
The idea to resurrect the classic camera has allegedly been praised by film directors including Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams.
