Unpublished Bronte works discovered in book
Previously unpublished works written by a teenage Charlotte Bronte have been discovered inside a book belonging to her mother.
An unseen poem and short story were found within the pages of a Henry Kirke White biography belonging to Maria Bronte and are in the process of being bought by the Bronte Society for £200,000.
The book contains various annotations and sketches by the Bronte family along with the young Charlotte Bronte's 74 line long short story, which has been described as a "satirical take on life in Haworth".
The Bronte Museum hopes to display the items next year.
