Inscribed and signed by Harper Lee on the front free endpaper in blue ink: "To Bobby from his devoted friend and admirer, Harper Lee. March 14, 1962." A notarized letter from Bobby (Hood) , to whom the book is inscribed, detailing the circumstances of his receipt of the book from Harper Lee, is included. The 1961 Pulitzer Prize Award-winning story that takes place during the Great Depression, and the basis for the classic 1962 film starring Gregory Peck. Condition: Light wear to jacket, foxing to edges of page block, inscription a bit blurred; near fine in a like jacket.
