(12mo) 16x10 cm (6 1/4x33/4"), period tree calf, rebacked, morocco spine label. First Edition. Attributed to the English antiquary, author and editor John Britton, writing here under the pseudonym Hilarus Benevolus. Condition: Rebacked, bookplate; light staining and foxing to added title-page and frontispiece, bookseller's catalogue entry affixed to top of "Deprecatory Advertisment" leaf following title-page, else very good.
