Original Capote and Avedon manuscript to auction today
An original fully annotated manuscript for the famous Truman Capote and Richard Avedon coffee table book 'Observations' will enter its live bidding stage today at RR Auction.
Both the novelist and photographer collaborated on the 1959 book which is filled with portraits and commentary of some of the most famous figures of the 20th century.
This one of a kind working draft has already attracted bids of up to $24,000 in its absentee bidding stage, though it could fetch an even higher hammer price at auction today.
