Manuscripts by first women writers in English on display
A new exhibition is to display the first book written in English by a woman along with the first autobiography written by a woman together for the first time.
The manuscripts were written by Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe and date back to Medieval England and have been loaned from the British Library for the exhibition which is being hosted by the Welcome Collection and explores the human voice.
The manuscripts will be displayed together until the 31st of July.
