Regis, 1671, first title printed in red and black, both titles with woodcut device, woodcut botanical illustrations to second part, some spotting and browning, annotation and wormholes, contemporary calf, rubbed with some wear to spine, 4to. The first scientific system of nomenclature, describing some six thousand species, "it is the begining of a modern 'natural' classification based on general morphology.
