(Folio) 42x28 cm (17x11") decorative paper covered boards, paper spine labels lettered in gilt. San Antonino of Florence was appointed Archbishop of Florence in 1446 by Eugenius IV. He was canonized by Pope Adrian VI in 1532 and the Catholic Church celebrates his feast on May 10. Summa Theologica is among his major works. Condition: Wear and soiling to bindings, rubbing to extremities, library labels on spines, corners worn, areas of paper worn away, especially at spines, chips at head and heel of spines; offsetting and a few small tears to endpapers, scattered light foxing, library stamps to preliminary pages, library card holders affixed to rear pastedowns, interiors solid and generally bright; about very good.
