Publisher: Macmillan Company. Date Published: 1916. Description: vi, 84 + (6) ad pp. (8vo) original maroon cloth with white cloth spine, front cover lettered in white with white border around lettering, spine in black, top edge gilt. First Edition. One of the scarcest of Jack London first editions; only 1350 copies printed. BAL binding 'A' with publisher's spine imprint in three lines of type and without row of dots following title on spine. Signed on the front free endpaper by the author's daughter, Becky London. BAL 11964; Sisson & Martens p. 86. Spine sunned, lightly soiled, small loss of white stamping on front cover; very good.
