With 6 maps on 4 sheets, 2 of them folding; frontispiece misprinted so it is blank (it should be facsimile of ms. by Bishop). Blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, jacket.Bishop sailed on a trading voyage to the northwest coast of America, tasked with procuring otter furs from the native Americans, and sailing to Canton via Japan to sell the cargo.
