Fourth Edition. Important series of charts and views, and sailing directions, for the entrance to San Francisco Bay and the inland waterways of gold rush California, first published the preceding year. Covers with a little fading and extremity wear, small stain to lower front cover; some light foxing to text leaves within, a few of the charts with short stub tears, but they are overall clean and fine, the volume very good.
