First American Edition.Stanley returns to Africa following the death of David Livingstone. One of the more attractive of the works produced by the most renowned, if not greatest, of the 19th century explorers of Africa. Condition: Moderate rubbing to covers and edges of cloth, slight fraying at head of spine; light foxing, damp stains at the beginning of volume 1; else very good.
