Collection of seven books, each signed on an opening page by the author. Signers are: Rex Beach (Going Home), signed and inscribed, “To Mr. Mark Fenderson with my sincere thanks for his assistance in making this book. Rex Beach, May 17, 1910”; Fleur Cowles (Bloody Precedent), signed and inscribed, “Dear Sylvia & Lennie—This will be out next week; I wanted you to have an early copy. Remember it’s a first attempt…I hope you think it is worth it. Fleur”; Edward Everett Hale (James Russell Lowell and his Friends), signed and inscribed, “Dear Mr. Calwell…I hope these chapters may give as much pleasure to you as they have given to me. Truly yours, Edward E. Hale”; Marianne Moore (The Absentee); Joyce Carol Oates (Them, limited Franklin Library edition); Carl Van Vechten (The Tattooed Country), signed and inscribed, “For Laurence Benn from Carl Van Vechten, ‘I know de Lund’s laid his hands on me’”; and Lucien Aigner (Lucien Aigner). In overall very good condition.
