Lot 410: Aristotle. [Decem librorum Moralium Aristotelis, tres conversiones... ], Part 5 (of 5) only, 1st edition, Paris: Johannes Higman and Wolfgang Hopyl, 12 April 1497, 74 leaves (A-D8, E6), capital spaces with guide letters, side notes, some spotting throughout and old light damp staining to upper inner margins of early leaves and upper outer margins of final leaves, final page slightly soiled without affecting legibility of printing details and text, modern wrappers, soiled and worn, slim folio (278 x 215mm) A complete part being the third Latin translation of the Nicomachean Ethics contained in the complete work, this part being folios 137-210. The translation here is by Robert Grosseteste, sometimes wrongly attributed to Henricus Krosbein. Goff A991; GW 2359. Exceptionally rare with no auction record traced for any part of this edition.
