Lot 33: Author: London, Jack. Title: A Daughter of the Snows - with inscribed leaf. Place Published: New York. Publisher: Grosset & Dunlap. Date Published: (1902, but later). Description: (8vo) original pale green cloth, pictorially stamped in green, red, and white. Reprint edition. With an inscribed inserted leaf at front: "Dear Idah Meacham: "Well, you're a crackerjack! Sure!" p. 15. Heartily yours, Jack London. Glen Ellen, Calif. Sept. 23, 1906." Idah Meacham Strobridge was an American author and bookbinder. Known primarily for a trio of works about the Great Basin. Signed on the front free endpaper by Becky London, the author's daughter. Light wear, near fine.
