Dent, together eleven volumes, colour plates, top edges gilt, remainder rough-trimmed, all with either book ticket/ownership name of David Gilson or bookplate of Chris Viveash, some with additional book ticket of George Fleming, each bound in original elaborately gilt decorated vellum, generally in bright condition, 8vo, together with twenty-one illustrated books similar, bound in gilt decorated green cloth, many bearing evidence of ownership as above, including Thackeray, Maria Edgeworth, Washington Irving, George Eliot, plus sixteen others, including Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte, 1862, Emma, by Jane Austen, 1886, and The Warden's Meeting, A Tribute to John Sparrow, 1977, signed by Sparrow and by several of the contributors, including David Gilson (also bearing his book ticket).
