Description: Black cloth with faint brown silhouette of a woman on front cover, silver-lettered spine, pictorial jacket with matching decoration on the front cover, designed by Pat Marriott. First Edition, Second printing. The sixth James Bond novel, set in the Caribbean. Also, basis for the first Bond film starring Sean Connery; this is considered by many to be Fleming's best book. The dust jacket is the same as that for the first printing except for a 14-line addition to the blurb on the front flap beginning "On publication day a leading article. ." Slight darkening to jacket, a few small tears and chips, 1" tear to top rear joint, flap corners evenly clipped (not affecting price); faint foxing to page edges and hinges; ink name of Ian Fleming (but not his signature) to title-page; very good or better in like jacket.
