(Folio) 64.5x50 cm (25½x19¾") green half calf and cloth, lettered in gilt on spines and front covers. No. 345 of 400 copies and one of only 70 with text in French. First Edition.Also published in German (200 copies) and English (130 copies) language editions. A cornerstone works on Oriental carpets, with writings by Caspar Clarke, Wilhelm Bode, Vincent Joseph Robinson, Sidney J.A. Churchill, George C.M. Birdwood, Alois Riegl, and Arthur von Scala. Spines faded, light wear to bindings; plates and text clean and bright; very good.
