Blackmer 661: "First and only edition. Gell visited Ithaca in the spring of 1806 accompanied by Dodwell and Henry Raikes. He was the first to study seriously the topography of Ithaca for its Homeric associations. The work was reviewed by Byron in the Monthly Review for August, 1811." (1)
