Lot 183: Two Dutch Staten Bibles, published by Jacob Hendrik Keur, Dordrecht, 1738 and 1741, belonging to the Depuy family of Marbletown and Rochester, New York, with an 18th/19th c. family record written in the first two pages, the covers having a leather over beveled wood board, a brass corner decoration and clasps, containing multiple maps, printed by J. V. Jagen. 1738 Bible - One clasp missing, pages with allover staining concentrated at edges, wear to leather exterior, binding stable. 1741 Bible - One clasp missing, pages with allover staining concentrated at edges, loss to leather exterior at spine, binding visible but stable.
