Description: 8 pp. (8vo) slate-blue wrappers, front cover embossed with title and author name. Press's device printed in green and white on title-page. First Edition. No. 28 of 30 copies. Theodore Lillienthal, the proprietor of the Quercus Press, was a good friend of Sherwood Anderson and his wife Elizabeth and produced this handsome printing in an extremely limited edition to create a more permanent version of the poems which had first appeared in The American Mercury in May, 1927. OCLC lists five locations for this item, at Mills College, the University of San Francisco, Yale, Notre Dame, and Middlebury College. Fine.
