Blake, William, Songs of Innocence, [London], [Trianon Press}, [1954]. 31 leaves with color collotype facsimiles of the original work issued by William Blake c.1790-1794, plus 3 leaves of explanatory text & colophon. 21.5x13 cm (8½x5 "), quarter leather & boards, spine lettered in gilt, slipcase. Copy K of 26 lettered copies reserved for the Library of Congress, Trustees of the Blake Trust, etc. Rare lettered copy of this early Trianon Press facsimile of William Blake's Songs of Innocence, made from the copy in the Lessing J. Rosewald Collection, the illuminated pages reproduced by Messrs. Beaufumé and Duval of Paris using collotype and stencil process. There were 1600 numbered copies produced for distribution in Britain and the United States. Condition: A touch of rubbing to spine ends, tslight rubbing or dryness along joints; near fine.
