Description: Original box of quarter red morocco with marbled sides containing seven items: The Rose Garden of Omar Khayyam, three copies, one 7x6 mm, one 46x38 mm, one 15x13 cm (with original spiderweb pattern glassine jacket); A Thimbleful of Books, 22x15 cm (with original spiderweb pattern glassine jacket); Proof Sheet of the Smallest Printed Book in the World; small printed glassine envelope with trimmed proof; small prospectus card. The first three in full red morocco, as issued, others in original paper wrappers. Also includes a small brass magnifier, as issued. Instructions for handling tipped to inside of front cover. A wonderful presentation of, for its time, the smallest book ever printed, holding the record of 20 years, from 1932-1952. Perhaps the nicest copy we have seen. Condition: Small bump to lower edge of the rear board of the box; glassines lightly chipped; very near fine.
