Tipped in portrait frontispiece from a photo by Bachrach, plates from photographs and sketches by the author. (8vo) original wrap-around full morocco binding, swordfish design on front, silk endleaves, top edge gilt. No. 10 of 500 copies printed, this copy designated for Alice Comstock who's name appears on the limitation statement and stamped on the binding flap. Scarce deluxe limited edition of this classic work on fishing in the Catalina Channel, California, in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Bandini was a member of one of the Southern California's oldest families. Inscribed and signed by Bandini on the frontispiece. Condition: Light wear and fading; very good.
