Ken Sanders founded Ken Sanders Rare Books in 1997 and Dream Garden Press in 1980. He has a long history of promoting the arts and literature and has hosted hundreds of book signings and art exhibitions, including the State of Utah's largest ever poetry reading. He is the co-host of KCPW's Poetry is Wanted Here radio show. In 2005, Ken was honored by the Salt Lake City Mayor's Award for Contributions to the Arts. Ken made his first appearance on the Antiques Roadshow in season 11.

Is everyone aware of the appalling rapine of Everett Ruess' literary remains by Ken Sanders, this famed antiquarian bookmonger? This story should be more widely known.

Mr. Sanders cultivates an avuncular persona. One promotional video refers to him as "the World's Most Adorable Book Collector." He calls himself "the World's Biggest Book Lover." (Larry McMurtry, eat your heart out.)
