A rare psalm book from 1640 is predicted to sell for between $15 million to $30 million at a Sotheby’s auction on Nov. 26 in New York. Considering Audobon's "Birds of America" currently sits at $8 million, the "Magna Carta" at $21 million and da Vinci's "Codex Lester" at $31 million, you can bet that all eyes in the world of rare books and manuscripts are firmly fixed on New York at the end of the month. It looks very likely to become the most expensive book of them all.
