Harper Lee letters to auction at Christies
A collection of letters written between Harper Lee and friend Harold Caufield will auction at Christies ahead of the release of Lee's highly anticipated second novel 'Go Set a Watchman.'
The rare letters were written by the notoriously reclusive author before the release of her famous, and only, novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and could bring up to $250,000 at auction on the 12th of June.
Lee's second novel, the sequal of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' is to be released in July and is already the most preordered book in the publisher HarperCollins' history.
