A Charles Schulz autographed Snoopy book is a book signed by the celebrated ‘Peanuts’ creator Charles Schulz, offered for sale by the company Paul Fraser Collectibles.
‘Peanuts’, created by Charles Schulz, is the most popular comic strip in history with a peak readership of 355 million in 75 countries around the world.
It ran from 1950 to 2000, with 17,897 strips published, and generated more than $1 billion in sales and merchandise for Schulz who died in February 2000.
The stories, featuring the iconic characters of Charlie Brown and Snoop amongst others, have cemented their place in U.S culture and the strip is credited with influencing generations of artists and writers.
‘Snoop and the Red Baron’ was released in 1966, and featured reprints of cartoon strips from the Peanuts series in which Snoopy battled the Red Baron.
The book on offer is a hardback edition, with slight scuffs to the edges and marks of use. The inside cover page features a signature and inscription in blue ink, which reads:
"To Audrey - Best wishes Charles M. Schulz"
