One of just 99 copies of The Ballad of Reading Gaol to have been signed by Oscar Wilde is heading to Christies Auctions. This copy was published anonymously by Leonard Smithers in 1898 using the initials 'C.3.3', Wilde's Reading jail prison number. This edition is number 64 of the 99 to have been signed and is expected to fetch £3,500 – £4,500 at auction on May 29th.
