2015's biggest rare book sales by Abe Books
At $191,000 a 1765 Italian edition of a 'Natural History of Birds' by Saverio Manetti was the most expensive book sold by rare booksellers Abe Books last year.
The booksellers have compiled a top ten list of the most expensive books sold in their marketplace in 2015 with additional big sellers coming in the form of a first edition of Roald Dahl's Charlie and The Chocolate Factory which sold for $25,000 and 1767 edition of The Holy Bible which sold for $19,000.
