Description: 128, (1) pp. Woodcut on title page, a few head and tail pieces and one initial. (8vo) full tan calf, gilt-lettered morocco spine label. A rare work in Latin. Neat purple rubberstamp on front free endpaper marks this book as "Property of Timothy Leary." Dr. Timothy Leary (1920-1996) was an American psychologist and writer, and was dismissed from the faculty of Harvard in 1963, when it was learned that he had been experimenting on himself, his associates, and hundreds of volunteers, with LSD. Condition: Front cover neatly detatched, spine head panel chipped away, rubbing and wear at extremities; faint foxing; very good.
