Model of the X-24B Research Vehicle, measuring 10.5? long and 5.5? wide, set upon a wooden base with a plaque reading, "Research Vehicle X-24B." In fine condition. The X-24B was an experimental aircraft developed from a joint USAF-NASA program experimenting with a lifting body design to demonstrate the concept of unpowered reentry and landing.
