This clock was probably up on display around an interesting period for Ford: if my suspicious are correct and it comes from the early 70s then it would have been used around that transition period of models following the '73 oil crisis. What followed is often referred to as the Malaise-era of American cars, with Ford arguably one of the makers worst hit. This clock is valued at $1,500-2,500 at auction, possibly for the provenance or maybe they're just really rare?
