Mark Hamill fighting fake autographs with California lawmaker
Actor Mark Hamill has teamed up with California Assemblywoman Ling Ling Chang in a bid to fight fake autographs.
The Luke Skywalker actor is hoping that rules which currently only apply to sports memorabilia will be extended to cover all signed collectibles sold by dealers in the state of California.
This would mean that memorabilia dealers would require a certificate of authenticity for every item which they sell.
Ling Ling Chang contacted Hamill after the actor warned fans on twitter against buying memorabilia and photographs which feature forged autographs.
