Lot 890: American soul singer and musician (1941–1991) most famous for his work as one of the lead singers of the Temptations. Set of two identical DSs, each one page, 9.25 x 17, February 5, 1973. Standard AGVA engagement contract between Ruffin and Herman Nash, in which the former agrees to "present his act…as a vocalist…at the Paladium Club in the city of Atlanta, Georgia," on February 18, 1973, for a total sum of $1750. Both signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Ruffin and countersigned by Nash. Documents are stapled together at the top, with attached riders additionally signed by Ruffin.
