Swanson, writer Richard Landau, and Trumbo confirming that they "shall have the right to represent all stories heretofore written by Dalton Trumbo…We agree that you shall be entitled to 5% commission upon the sale either by you or by us of the motion picture rights in 'The General Came To Stay.'" Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Trumbo, Landau, and Swenson. In fine condition.
