Lot 770: German violinist, conductor, composer and violin teacher (1831-1902). Nicely penned AMQS in German on a tan 9.5 x 5.75 sheet, dated December 11, 1861, signed at the conclusion in black ink. Bargheer pens two opening bars of a composition for violin and piano, titling it at the top, "Alle[gro] con spirito." In fine condition, with a vertical fold to right side and toning to edges due to tape remnants on reverse.
