Lot 748: Greta Garbo
Lot 748: DS, one page, 11 x 8.5, May 1, 1961. State of California road test score sheet, filled out and signed by the road test examiner who deducts a total of eleven points, noting that Garbo needs to improve in the following maneuvers: stop sign, right and left turns, and backing. Garbo signs in the upper right corner in black ballpoint. Intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the first name), a few partial separations and tears to edges, and slight toning, otherwise fine condition. A humorous if not insightful peak into the everyday goings-on of a 55-year-old Garbo, now firmly entrenched in her life away from the Hollywood spotlight.
