Lot 7476: ALS signed "Johnny," two pages, 6 x 9, no date. Letter to Chris Lamy, in part: "We are doing an in store at Virgin on July 20th—(Union Square) for a new Rhino release of 60 old songs. I saw your guitar piece on the internet it was really good...You left out a Fender Mustang & a certain model Gibson but the piece was great. L.A. is fine I have a nice house & pool, room for most of my collectables. I have a computer my friend Eddie got me one for Christmas. We better get at least George W. in next election, though my favorite is probably Pat Buchanan but he can't win. The country is going down the tubes." Johnny adds his e-mail address and a postscript, "But I don't know how to get mail or send mail yet but I will very soon. Next time a friend comes over I'll learn." In fine condition. Accompanied by four photographs sent with this letter that show the interior and exterior of Johnny's LA home, including early images of his Elvis room and his serial killer and horror room. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Chris Lamy, close friend of The Ramones and guitarist of The Jabbers, formerly GG Allin & The Jabbers. The Chris Lamy Collection.
